Ty Newydd B&B - Brecon

We really enjoyed staying here, it's wonderful old hotel with helpful staff in an accessible manner. The location was INCREDIBLE in the conservatory in the afternoon, right at The Track Family Fun Parks.

Nothing not too like!

It had stunning and marvellous location, really close to restaurants as well as the Royal Oak pub in Pencelli which serves really good, home-cooked food. Got a tasty and enjoyable breakfast included. Staff were outstandingly accommodating.

The food was excellent, with a good choice of options. The location for Brecon was great, near to restaurants, Brecon Beacons, and the river.

Great views and delicious breakfast. Free Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

The twin and king rooms offer cozy comfort, complete with unique decor and nice touches that enhance the stay. The mountain view from the king room is excellent.

The narrow, circular stairs to the second floor proved a bit tricky, especially when lugging bags up and down-definitely requires some caution. The packed breakfast option fell short with only a couple of pain au chocolat, leaving a decidedly inadequate and somewhat unhealthy impression for those needing a proper start to their day.

Had a blast with friends! Loved exploring the vibrant street performances during the Jazz fest and cycling along the canal with Bikes and Hikes. The place was clean and comfy, and the breakfast was amazing. Just be aware that the stairs to the second floor can be tricky with luggage.

The steps up to the second floor are narrow and a bit awkward for carrying luggage, so just take your time going up and down.

Really enjoyed my stay! The breakfast was fantastic, and I loved relaxing in the cozy garden area and taking a stroll around the lovely grounds. Just a small note, the towels could be a bit plusher, but overall, it was a brilliant stay! 😊

The views from our King Room were amazing, with mountains framing the landscape and a tranquil canal right outside. We loved starting our mornings in the conservatory, enjoying a delicious breakfast while soaking in the serene surroundings. Rachel and Sid.

The warm welcome from the hosts set a pleasant tone for our stay. Enjoying a delicious hot breakfast each morning fueled us for our adventures, complemented by the beautiful views of the Beacons. The proximity to the scenic canal provided excellent walking opportunities. Drying space for wet clothes was quite limited, and the tiny bathroom felt cramped at times.

I adored the cozy atmosphere of Ty Newydd B&B. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The location offered amazing views of the mountains and a charming canal right beside the hotel.

The hotel has well-appointed and large rooms in a very pleasant area. Comfortable beds and central heating are provided. Television and coffee/tea making machines are available. The personnel are very helpful and professional. The location is quiet and picturesque. The breakfast served is enjoyable and savory.

Conveniently located near local shops and within a reasonable distance from Ripley's Believe it or Not. 🛍️.
